About workshop

To introduce the processing status of standard products, to present some validation results and comparisons, and to discuss about scientific themes derived from the SMILES data, the SMILES International Workshop 2011 spring will be jointly hosted by JAXA and NICT during March 14 and 15 at the Clock Tower Centennial Hall of Kyoto University, Japan. This meeting is intended to gather researchers who submitted proposals in response to the Research Announcement, but those who are interested in the SMILES data are also welcome. We hope during this meeting all attendees get the impression about high potential of the SMILES observations.
